Electro thermal fuseable link
 

The electro thermal link is designed for use where there is a potential fire hazard, such as in boiler or plant rooms.

In the event of a fire the thermal link will fuse interrupting the power supply, activating alarms or shut down devices.

The link consist of a purpose built cast aluminium box with a perforated cover having a temperature sensitive fuse. The unit should be mounted so that the perforated cover faces downwards and the ventilation holes in the back of the box must not be obstructed.

The link is electrically rated at 5 amps maximum on 200/250 Volts, single phase, 50Hz and melts at 68 deg C

The box measures approx 60 x 50 x 30mm and has a 20mm conduit thread in one end.

Key reset version can be used to prevent any unauthorised restarting of machinery/system following an emergency situation
